40.0mm North Carolina The blue in the center shot is due to changing the white balance. [link] Here is a link to the entry for Argiope, "the Writing Spider", if you're curious about this colorful fellow. It would seem this is a female. Thanks again to  for information regarding the bundle of stuff below her, it is the remains of her last meal.They may bite if physically harrassed (she didn't even move and I was nearly touching her with my lens) but their venom isn't a health hazard to humans. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
